The Dress

This is the sale of my beautiful Stewart Parvin - Get Happy wedding dress. RRP GBP 3000.00.

It is a beautiful fairy tale dress with what feels like a million layers underneath. There is a substantial train at the back and a hidden corset.

Official description of the dress:

Get Happy – a full circle skirted gown with an exquisitely shaped French lace bodice which has been deisgned to dip into the small of the brides back, creating a stunning shaping. The skirt has a beautiful soft fullness to it, and is made from silk organza and taffeta with full petticoats underneath for that dramatic shape.

The dress has been dry cleaned and professionally boxed. There is slight marking to the underneath of the train from walking around on our day but none that can be seen when wearing the dress!

The dress was initially a size 10 and i had it taken down to a size 8. There are cups sewn into the bust to give some support along with the inner corset. It was VERY comfortable throughout the entire day. The hard bit was getting out of it!

I am 5ft 8 and wore 4inch heels. You can see on the church picture how the length hung on me.
