The Dress

Peter Langner Grace ivory wedding dress made from 100% cotton handmade guipure lace. I bought this last May from Browns Brides in London for £7100. Handmade in Italy.

The styling as you can see from the photos is subtle fishtail with a lovely nipped in bodice shape, giving you a perfect hourglass silhouette. The bust is padded and has a built in adjustable bodice. The back has a gorgeous covered button detail which disguises the zip. The skirt also has an optional bustle detail.

Split size - this was made to measure. I'm sure Browns Brides / Peter Langner referred to it as a UK size 12 but I would say it runs smaller than that, more like a UK 10. Please refer to the measurements:

Bust - 45cm flat (from underarm to underarm,
Waist - 35cm flat (measured directly under the bodice)
Hips - 46cm flat (measured at widest point - approx 69cm down from shoulder neck point)
Length - 62inches front length from shoulder neck point to hem)

I am 5'6" and wore approx 2" heels, so this is the length the dress and lace has been finished to.

I only wore the dress for the ceremony and during the day, so it is in great condition. Nonetheless I've had this dry cleaned by Lewis & Wayne in Chelsea, so it's in immaculate condition.
