The Dress

Official Description: Venice beaded lace over tulle ballgown with a boat neckline and pleated tulle cummerbund at the natural waist. The gown is finished with a V-back, tulle covered buttons to the bottom of the cummerbund and a chapel length train.

I have had some alterations done, I am 165cm tall and wore flats so hemming was done, I also had the bodice pulled in from a size 12 to a 10 and the shoulders lifted slightly so the lace wasn't limp and hanging.

Also, I had a five point bustle added to allow for dancing, there are unnoticeable ribbons through the train that hook up on to buttons around the back of the waistband in five places. I found this to be amazing compared to the wristband option because it gave me full movement. The bustle is seriously easy with just 5 buttons to hold the tulle up and a ribbon which pulls the under layer of satin up also.

I found the dress to be exceptionally comfortable, and very easy to move in, even for the length of the train. I received so many compliments in the gown and felt absolutely amazing! I had the dress cleaned by the lady who did the alterations, she did an amazing job - there are no marks at all on it... but I don't have a receipt as she operates from home.
