The Dress

My beautiful ivory, satin, fishtail gown.
I fell in love instantly!

I bought this dress January 2015, and wore it at my August 2015 wedding.
I felt like a movie star.

This dress is ivory, satin and is fishtail shaped. It hugs your figure, and accentuates curves. The dress has sheer tulle straps, which leads into a sweetheart neckline decorated with intricate jewels and bead work. The dress has a long train, which is a show stopper when working down the aisle. The back of the dress is beautiful, coming down to a low 'V' shape to the mid back, with tulle material exposing just the right amount of skin, decorated in the same intricate jewelling and beading that the front has. The back design scallops into the satin material, edged with more beading and jewelling.
A concealed zip, and buttons are used to fasten the dress. The buttons that are used to fasten the dress, continue to the very hem of the dress, showing the length and design of the gown.
The bottom of the gown is full of multiple layers of tulle to give the gown its fullness and fishtail shape.

The dress also has a tiny hook attached to one of the buttons, to bring up the train of the dress for ease of movement later in the day.

I am obviously very biased, but this dress is just beautiful! So understated, yet has a wow factor.

There has been no body alterations to the dress at all.
The dress has been shortened in length however. I am 5 foot 2.5 inches tall, and wore a mid heel on my wedding day. Any more questions in regards to length, please let me know.

I had the dress dry cleaned and steamed, the week following our wedding in order to get rid of any possible stains or marks. The dress has been examined closely, and no visible marks or stains can be seen.
The dress also comes with a protective cover for safe keeping and storage.
