The Dress
I had my dress custom made by the wonderful Lilli Marcs, combining two of her gorgeous styles to get the low back lace feature plus slightly tighter around the bum resulting in a gorgeous dress. The lace straps into an almost sweetheart neckline softened the front, and the V back with lace is narrow enough to make your back look slim (vs. a full open back), but is a striking feature of the dress and one which stole my heart and which I got many compliments about.
The lace outer is 100% French lace, and the underlay is a gorgeous satin silk. Super comfy and not restrictive in the slightest.
I'm 5'4", generally an 8 or 6-8 and would have been the latter at the time of the wedding.
I was married in Sept '15 and the dress has been professionally dry-cleaned. While it's hard to part with the dress, I would much rather see it used and loved again and not have it out for only the one day.
