The Dress

Roland Mouret Jansen Stretch Crepe gown -- sleek, modern, urban, and elegant with a touch of retro flair. Classic styling yet an unconventional bridal gown.

This is a size 10 UK (label states 4-6 US but I am usually a 4).

Hem is the ONLY alteration. Otherwise dress has in no way been altered. Hem is slightly varied at the bottom (it lays like a pool -- see fourth picture) and was worn by some who is 5'6" - 5'7" and wore 2.5-3.5 inch heels (I had one pair for ceremony which were lower so the dress fell more on the floor and one higher pair I wore when dancing that kept the dress from touching the ground.)

Purchased from Net-a-porter.com and worn ONCE at a 2015 indoor hotel wedding.

Dress has been professionally specialty hand dry cleaned by DAVID IMPERIAL CLEANERS (ranked as one of the top dry cleaners in the world)-- the process took over four months and was not cheap ($500). The dress is in pristine shape, with no stains, tears or issues.

Gwyneth Paltrow has worn a similar dress in violet, and Naomi Watts wore a similar dress in gray.

If you are curious about fit, I recommend checking out Roland Mouret at Nieman Marcus stores (many of his dresses are stretch crepe and very flattering) or at the flagship store in New York.

Dress is currently located in LOS ANGELES over the holidays. I travel regularly to SAN JOSE. If you would like to try the dress on at either location, that could be arranged.
