The Dress

Gauze and guipure wedding dress with crystal embroidery. Sweetheart neckline, guipure bodice and appliqués on the sides of the skirt. Draped tulle sash. Guipure jacket with sheer effect and lace with floral motifs with off-the-shoulder neckline, fastened with buttons at the back.

The dress comes as 2 parts, a floaty multi layered dress with a lace sweetheart neckline upper half. The lace embellishment flows down each side of e dress just past the hips with delicate sequins sewn into the lace throughout. It has a small train that can be looped around the wrist for ease of walking around after the ceremony. There is a layoured satin waistband. The dress was mostly altered in length to suit my height and a small amount taken in around the bust.

The intricate lace over-jacket is again embellished with subtle sequins and sits off the shoulder just above the waistband. It is fastened with little white satin buttons all the way down the back. I chose to keep the jacket on throughout the day but it is easily removed to make the dress on its own as strapless. The jacket when it arrived was a very large size and so it had to be altered to fit a size 12 with a 36" bust.
