The Dress
This custom tulle skirt with chapel length train was made to wear over my fitted lace wedding dress. It is made of 4 layers of soft tulle in an ivory/natural white. It has a 5cm thick waist band to fit 64-68cm waist. I'm 170cm and wore 7cm heels on the day. The front measurement from waist band to hem is 108cm, and at the back it's 155cm.
The lace beading on the waist band can be removed in one strip (tacked on with clear thread) if you prefer the white matte satin underneath. The skirt is sheer (needs a slip under if worn alone) but perfect over a dress if you want two looks on your wedding day. I wore it for the ceremony and some photos, then removed it for the reception. The hem is cut, not edged so if you want to trim the length or neaten up the edges it will be quite easy.
