The Dress

Up for sale is the gorgeous Baccini & Hill London gown. I had this custom made to measure for my recent wedding and as much as I would love to keep it, I hope that it can be re-homed and give someone else as much joy as it did me on their special day!

The dress is a sheath which falls into a fishtail train. The outer layer is beautiful ivory french corded lace with a boat neck and a deep 'V' Back. The lace edging is raw over the neckline and back as pictured. I had this altered from the original design which was a very low scoop which makes it one of a kind. The under-layer is an oyster coloured silk charmeuse. Is has a 'V' cut front and back to highlight the gorgeous french corded lace over the decolletage. The long train has a hidden button bustle to make is easy for dancing the night away. There are also finger loops if you wish to hold up the train. The dress comes with a matching silk charmeuse sash belt which is entirely optional. I wore it with an art-deco pin. The bust has sewn in cups and I am a standard B cup however the cups were substantially padded and can be altered to allow for a larger bust. The back of the dress has an invisible zip and pearl buttons. I am a size 8 on top/8-10 bottom. I am 170 cm tall and wore 10 cm heels.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned. It is currently being carefully stored at my parents home in Ringwood North, Victoria, however I reside in the Inner West of Sydney and can arrange for interested buyers to view and/or try the dress here as well.
