The Dress

I bought this dress because it sits on the body in the most beautiful way, hugging in all the right places, I also added a gorgeous crystal belt (which was £380 just for the belt ) which everyone said was stunning and really set off the dress. It also draws attention to your waist and was incredibly flattering.

It has a bias pleating across the bodice (which is great for adding extra lift if you have a smaller bust) and a lovely scooped neckline which gives the upper body a lovely shape.

The back of the dress goes into a V shape and has ivory silk buttons that go down to the waist. It is an absolutely stunning dress made by a British designer which I bought as a couture piece in a little boutique wedding dress shop. I am 5 foot 6 inches tall and wore 3 inch heels. You could easily cut the dress down, if you wish.

I am a size 12 in the high street and I feel this dress is more of a small size 12 despite having 14 on the label.

I am not a "girly girl" but I felt amazing on my wedding day in this dress - elegant, beautiful and very, very slim. Having tried on so many other dresses, you could immediately tell the difference when you tried on this dress as the fitting and boning were just superb.

I really hope this goes to the next bride and make them feels as special as I did.
