The Dress

Alice Temperley is a British fashion designer based in London. Her fashion label, Temperley London was launched in 2000. Temperley has been awarded several times including English Print Designer of the Year in 1999 at Indigo, Paris as well as Elle Magazine Best Young Designer of the Year Award in 2004. She was also named one of Britains top 35 female business leaders in 2006.

Kate Middleton has worn a number of Alice Temperley dresses.

The Long Imani Dress was part of Alice Temperley's Made to Order 2010 Bridal collection.

Crinkle silk chiffon embellished with tiny silver sequins and beads, this dress has a boned bodice that holds and flatters the waist. A full chiffon skirt and plaited straps make this delicately feminine and an easy dress to wear.

The dress would suit an overseas or beach wedding.

The dress really needs to be seen to fully appreciate the fine detail.

I'm 5'4 tall and wore with 3 1/2 inch heels Jimmy Choos Lace shoes (these are in the 24/7 collection and go excellently with the dress). Although still felt the dress was slightly too long, so would fit someone slightly taller.

The alterations were to the length of the dress as I didn't want the small trail and I also had cups built into the bodice. Also, the strap where shorten as original is made to order with extra length in order to custom fit.
