The Dress
A beautiful mermaid-shaped wedding dress by Ronald Joyce: style Luna 61073. The bodice is encrusted with crystal and diamante beads creating an empire-line effect, accented by a pretty (removable) bow. The dress is layered and the top fine tulle layer is adorned with embroidered appliqué and satin flowers. The back closes with a ribbon and loop corset fastening and the skirt flares out into a fishtail train. There is also an optional, beaded halterneck strap.
I am 5ft 5inches and wore medium height heels (about 2 inches?) and had the dress professionally shortened to fit my height. No other alterations were made. I am a size 12 to 14 rather than a 12.
