The Dress

Suzanne Neville 'Lady' Wedding Dress.

Size 12 white ivory A-line dress with a fitted bodice and scoop neckline in ivory Zibelene silk. The bodice is boned and with a white ivory ribbon that goes around the waist, so is very slimming. The A-line skirt has a train. The skirt has net underskirts to support it and give it a bit of body and goes straight down on the skirt with no bustle. Part of the underskirt can be removed for dancing. The back of the dress goes into a V shape and has ivory silk buttons that go down to the waist.

It is an absolutely stunning dress made by a British designer which I bought as a couture piece in a little boutique wedding dress shop. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall and wore 1 inch heels.

The dress is in good condition all over apart from some markings around the hemline (and up a few inches at the very back - see photo) from when I took my shoes off for dancing and folded up the train into the bustle in the evening. These marks have not been removed from dry cleaning so I would recommend someone slightly shorter than me buy this and have it taken up slightly. I also have a full length (approx 7ft) single tiered veil with train lined with satin that I am willing to sell with the dress. This is in perfect condition as I only wore it for an hour inside the church.
