The Dress

Hello there,

I’m selling my wedding dress as I’ve recently moved and no longer have enough space to keep this beauty.

The dress is made of flowing morbid tulle that feels amazingly light, almost dreamy. The front of the dress has a sheer one shoulder strap with floral accents that continue from the top of the shoulder all the way to the back. The dress also has a slight sweetheart neckline and the bodice is ruched. There is a beaded applique with flowers on side of the waist and the skirt is layered with small flower buds scattered on the front and train of the dress.

I bought this dress from the Pronovias Bond Street store in London. It was ordered as a size UK8 but was taken in at waist once arrived. The hemline was also taken up to match my height (164cm & 10cm heels aka 5’4” & 4” heels). As seen in the pictures, due to the inner elastic corset band, the back of the dress can be altered in size so the dress could also fit someone slightly smaller or bigger than me.

This dress was worn once in July 2011 and dry-cleaned after. I feel it would be a real shame to carry on keeping it tucked away from all the fun so I’ve decided to sell. The dress deserves some attention at another beautiful event.

The top half of the dress is still completely flawless but due to the delicate nature of the fabric, the very bottom, around the hemline, has some damage to it. There are a few small holes on the bottom at the front, which could be fixed either with needle and thread or by taking the dress up a little. The damage at the back could be fixed by making the train a little bit shorter. The issues are not noticeable when the dress is on but I understand most brides want their dress to be perfect. I'm happy to email more pictures or for you to come and try it on.

This item comes from a smoke-free home and comes with a protective bag (black with silver Pronovias logo and polka dots).
