The Dress

Hello,

This is my Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner style 1862 ivory wedding dress.

The dress itself shows off curves in all the right places, it fit lovely and is beautiful!

It is a fishtail/mermaid lace dress with a sweetheart neckline with a low buttoned back. There is a zip behind the buttons, which to be honest, made it so much easier to get on and off on the day as I didn't have to struggle undoing the buttons.

The dress has been altered. Waist- 28 inches. Hips- 38 inches. Bust- 32 inches.

I am 5ft 8inches tall and I wore heels around 3 inches tall on the day.

I have a small chest, so I had some cups added into the dress. They are only loose and can easily be removed if necessary.

For the evening reception I hooked up the bottom of the back of the dress so it was the same length all the way around, this made it much easier to have a dance and not worry about it getting stood on.

I have had the dress dry cleaned and is good as new!
