The Dress

This was my DREAM wedding gown; the ladies at Jane Hill did a wonderful job. The gown was a custom design, made to measure. A unique, sweetheart neckline, with beautiful draped off-the-should sleeves, and a fitted bodice. It has a soft silk tulle overlay, which is embroidered with French beaded lace detail. It also has a train, which can be easily bustled for the reception.

This gown was very comfortable and not at all restrictive, which was really important as I wanted to be able to have a good boogie at my wedding! The gown was designed so that the off-the-shoulder straps could be detached so that I could have two looks. My original intention was to remove the straps for the reception, but I just ended up loving them so much that I kept them on for the whole. The gown was sent to the dry cleaners immediately after we came home from the honeymoon; the ladies at Syndal's Bridal Dry Cleaners did an excellent job at hand-cleaning the gown.
