Vintage Inspired - 40's Era

Imported from London (I believe the only one in Australia).

Worn only for a few hours during fittings before deciding that I did not have the heart to hack into the gorgeous French Chantilly Lace to make it 'fit' my smaller petite frame.

Slight frays on bottom lace hem (from touching ground as too long for me) but nothing that is noticeable.

Length had been altered by the designer to suit a petite bride before coming over...would suit more of a 5ft 2 'ish' bride wearing 2-3 inch heels.

So the gap between slip and bottom lace is not as noticeable...slip could be shortened to create same effect as pics though. I preferred not to have such a large gap.

I'm 5ft, size 4-6, and this suits more of a taller petite size 6-8 frame.

Absolutely stunning, simple, modest and elegant, vintage inspired dress.

Pure silk ivory Slip, Ivory French Chantilly lace over slip dress with glass buttons at back.

Still has tags.

My loss, is your gain.

Have been procrastinating on selling this for far too long, as its gorgeous and it was a 'Had to Have It' buys...but just not the right dress on my frame :-(

'May' needs a new loving home on someone whose petite frame, she best suits.
