The Dress

I purchased this dress in February this year from Fairytales Bridal Boutique in Moonee ponds. This Pronovias gown is part of the 2014 San Patrick collection. The lace patterns on this dress are just gorgeous, simple but stunning. Its a mermaid style gown with lace shoulders and the sheer, plunging back with embroided lace is a massive feature. Scalloped lace along the edge finishes this dramatic gown off beautifully. It has a v-neckline with a vintage looking lace fabric which provides a timeless, elegant look.
The colour is ivory. It fitted in well with our rustic/winery theme, but is versatile enough to fit into any wedding theme or venue. It can be teamed up with a veil, but I really wanted to expose the back and show all it had to offer. So I went for a classic look with an updo hairstyle and crystal beaded headpiece that complimented the dress perfectly.
The back of this dress is all class and is what sold me as soon as I found this dress. I knew it would be a stand out point. The dress is fitted and creates a beautiful figure hugging, slim look. I am a size 10AU with a B-cup bust. Bust inserts have been sewn in. Some slight alterations were made to create a more fitted look, and press studs were created on the shoulders to make it easier to get the dress on and off. There is a side zip. I had the hem lifted a little, i am around 172 cms tall and wore 6.5 cms heels. This dress also has 3 cute little bustle hooks on the back so that the train can be bustled up after the ceremony, for a bit of a different look.
The dress was worn once (March 2015) and is in great condition with no damage. I have had it dry cleaned with Syndal's Bridal dry cleaners. Receipts and cleaning certificate can be shown and dress is available to be tried on. I also have a hoop that I bought to go with the dress that is included to provide a more fishtailed look if desired. I hope someone else is able to enjoy this beauty as much as I did on my wedding day!
