The Dress

Congratulations on getting engaged!!

This satin wedding dress has a semi-transparent overbodice with a round neck. It is covered with beautiful precious stone embroidered lace and reveals the flattering interior neckline. A plain sash encircles the waist, for a touch of modern elegance. A wide skirt accentuates the A-line of this dress. This dress has deep hidden pockets - perfect for keeping your lipgloss and a tissue on your special day! This dress is incredibly comfortable to wear. The weight of the dress is held up by the thick waistband and not on your shoulders or through the lace.

This dress is American size 4 and Australian size 8. I am 168cm and wore shoes approximately 2/3cm. My waist is 27~28 inches and my bust is 33 inches. Because the top is covered in lace, it is able to accommodate a range of bust sizes so the different bust sizes shouldn't matter. It can be altered internally! Inside the bust is corseted so the weight of the satin is held firmly in place by the corset. The inbuilt corset made of very thick elastic is actually slightly smaller than the dress - this allows for a perfect fit! The built-in bra allowed me to wear the dress without a bra as I felt the support was sufficient. The peep-hole back, as seen in photos on my wedding day, is a subtle but sexy finish. I did try the dress on with a number of different types of veils and almost anything looks great with the dress! I even tried the dress on without a veil and with a lace clip in my hair and that too was really nice.

The dress does have a permanent tag sewn on the inside. The under layer of the dress is also made out of Pronovias' signature material - the fabric is embossed by the Pronovias label to ensure the dress is 100% Pronovias.

The dress is in fantastic condition. There isn't a single mark on the outside of the dress. There are a few very tiny marks on the inside of the dress, inside the hem. You can't see these when you're wearing the dress or even if you pick up the dress. You can only see these few marks if you turn the dress inside out and look underneath all the layers.

I did have one alternation made. I got my dress maker to add tiny little bows on the INSIDE of the dress as well as a finger loop on the inside of the train. The tiny bows are for the train of the dress to be looped up for dancing without looking like a make-shift job. The dress maker is a professional wedding dress designer and maker and has added these bows so they fall in the folds of the gown so you can't see them.
