The Dress

This is a truly beautiful silk wedding dress by Ian Stuart. The model of the dress is Luxor.

Two silk flowers from VV Rouleaux have been added to where the ruching gathers at the hip. They have been tacked on lightly so they can be removed easily. The neckline has been transformed to a sweetheart shape by a professional seamstress at London Bridal Couture.

The dress originally had a very long train. Some of this length has been taken away (but keeping the original shape of the train) and made into a small wrap which I've included in one of the photos. I am happy to include the wrap in with the dress.

There is a small bustle at the back of the dress which is helpful for any dancing later in the evening!

The measurements are:

Bust: 33 inches

Waist: 27 inches

These were taken outside so inside is marginally smaller.

Front: top of bust to hem 56 inches

Train: bottom of buttons to hem 58 inches.

I am about 5'8 and I wore 2 inch heels.

The dress could be taken in or possibly out a little. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and it is in extremely good condition. It's stored in acid-free paper.

There are small delicate buttons up the back which have to be done up individually. There is internal support which means everything stays in place as it should whilst wearing it!
