The Dress

Absolutely stunning gown made by multi-award winning Australian designer Emoda Couture by Maria Fellas.

Ivory silk super smooth dupion fishtail gown with french beaded lace and tulle overlay. Matching beaded lace fascinator with removable net.

Half a metre train with silk covered button back. Size 10 with the following measurements:
Bust 35.5 inches
Waist 28.5 inches
Upper hip 32.5 inches
Lower hip 40 inches

The gown was worn at my wedding held in late August 2014 and was professionally dry cleaned (dry cleaning cost was $440) immediately after the wedding. The dry cleaner chosen specialises in wedding gowns and was recommended by the designer/dress maker.

The three quarter sleeves add a very elegant look which further adds to the beauty of the gown. No bra is required or was worn on the day. The gown is fully lined with boning and padding. The matching headpiece/fascintor is made out of the same material, lace and beading of the dress and adds a glamorous vintage look. The handmade headpiece was $300 on top of the cost of the gown and can be sold with the gown for $100.

The gown was everything I ever dreamt of and so much more. The detailing, material and beading is exquisite and adds to the sophisticated and timeless couture design and elegance of the gown.

My husband was speechless when he saw me walk down the aisle in the gown. All he could say was 'you look gorgeous'. All my guests commented endlessly about how stunning my gown was, how classic and elegant the design was and that I looked like a princess.
