The Dress

Stunning and utterly timeless ivory silk organza and French “bow” Chantilly lace gown with full circle skirt and fitted lace bodice. Suzanne Neville altered the gown herself to make it strapless (with a detachable halter-neck strap) and made the most elegant matching long sleeved sheer lace bolero . This made the dress more versatile which enabled me to wear different styles depending on the stage of the day i.e. dress with bolero for church/reception and halter-neck for dancing! The lace bolero made a diamond shaped open back which adds to the elegance of the dress. In essence the dress looks like the leading lady but opened up the front and made less restrictive by freeing the arms.

The organza skirt has been underpinned with layers of tulle to give a sumptuous look and has a detachable hoop. It is floaty and light weight and extremely easy to wear.

I am 5ft 4” and wore 1.5” heels. The dress is a size 8 however I am an 8/10 so it could fit either an 8 or be altered for a 10.

If you decide to buy the dress it will be professionally dry cleaned. It is in near perfect condition with a few faint marks on the bottom which would probably come out after the clean.

The dress with bolero was £4,045. Selling for £2,400 ono. I also have a beautifully simple full length (cathedral) veil which I bought for £155 and happy to sell with the dress.
