The Dress

A gorgeous Augusta Jones Sterling strapless, form fitting A-line gown featuring very rich corded lace. It has covered buttons down the back and is corseted on the inside. It came with an ivory taffeta sash which is included.

It's a wonderful dress, heavy with sequins, beads and lace but very comfortable. It sparkles very slightly as you move and has an incredible texture to it. The train has scalloped edges and is deceptively wide when spread out.

It has a bustle for hands free dancing and a little wrist band added beneath the train should you wish to hold the train up with your wrist as you dance.

The dress is in perfect condition though requires a new ribbon for the corset. The sash is slightly rumpled at one end (but this is barely noticeable.) It has been dry cleaned by a professional wedding dress cleaner and it is packed into a marvellous duck egg and gold acid free wedding dress box tied up with a satin bow. The lace bolero is not included.

The label size is UK 14 and it was altered down to a UK 12 (to allow a bigger bust). I am 5'7 and wore 2 heels.

I am parting with it to make more room at home for a new family member. Plus it seems a shame to keep it hidden away when others could enjoy it!
