The Dress

This is a beautiful made-to-measure dress by Melbourne designer, Julie Simonelli of Simonelli Bridal Couture.

The dress is ivory, fully sequenced, with a full corset. The dress comes with a beautiful long train which falls softly and looked stunning in photos. The train flowed elegantly when walking down the isle and made a grand entrance. I displayed the train for the church service and formal photos, but then bustled it under the dress in a clever slim line design for practicality and I used this when dancing and seeking a more casual look to the dress.

This dress really did photograph beautifully and would suit most body shapes. The sequenced material on this dress gives a little edge to a classic design and wore exactly how I hoped it would.

I am a curvy Size 10, but it would suit anyone from a size 8 to a Size 12. I am 172cm tall and wore 8cm heels on the day (these are a Size 7 and happy to give these away with the dress). I paid $6000 for the dress, + $700 for veil and shoes.

The dress was worn once and is in great condition. It has not yet been dry cleaned, but can be arranged for an additional fee, or the new bride can arrange this in her own time.

The price includes the handmade veil, with cathedral and shorter length. They are separate pieces, so can be worn separately or together, depending on what style you want.
