The Dress

I had this dress made to measure for my wedding on 26th May 2019. It is in the Belle Epoque Collection 2018, retailing for £2600.

I am 5’4 and wear a standard UK size 10. The dress was bought as a size 12, altered down to a size 10. The dress can be altered down to a size 8.

I wore the dress with 3.5 inch heels from Jenny Packham - Ivory 'Pasha' High Stiletto Heel Sandals.

The dress has a beautiful corset built in, which acts perfectly as underwear and ensures clean lines throughout your day. The fastening at the back is buttons - holding the corset in place. It is comfortable.

For dancing in the evening you can either hook the train over your wrist from the concealed wrist band in the train or fasten the train up in the ‘bustle’ which is also cleverly hidden inside.

The floor-length, ivory veil pictured is included in the price, originally retailing for £300.

I’ve had the dress and veil professionally dry cleaned and boxed so it’s ready to wear.

I really loved my dress and had loads of comments about its classic style and simplicity. I felt amazing in it and so relaxed.
