The Dress

This was the dress of my dreams! It's flowy, romantic, gorgeously lacy and has a touch of boho. The back of the bodice is what first caught my attention - a deep V-back with scalloped designer lace and beautiful pearl button detail, repeated at the cuffs. The long sleeves make it a perfect dress for a winter or autumn wedding, and the lace shows up beautifully on pictures. The bodice is fitted with bra cups that can be adjusted for height or easily replaced if preferred - a simple sewing task. The pattern of the lace perfectly hides the cups. The skirt has three layers of ivory tulle, is floor-length when I wear medium heals (my height without shoes is 163cm) with a short train - just enough to add some flow and romance. The train has a finger-loop for holding it up while walking or dancing - I used this loop to hem the skirt to the last button on the bodice while dancing. I finished the skirt with an ivory/champagne satin ribbon as a belt (included), but the skirt will work well with any of a variety of belts or ribbons. I ordered the bodice online from BHLDN and had minor alterations done by Hoiden Bridesmaids, who also custom-made the skirt. The skirt has a few small tears at the bottom but these are not noticeable with the flow of the tulle.

Alterations

Sleeves were taken in to fit snugly, but can be let out again. I would recommend buying this dress if your measurements are slightly smaller than mine, so that you can have it taken in to fit your body perfectly.
