The Dress

The Davina dress by Pronovias is everything I was looking for in a wedding dress, it is beautifully designed and made with elements of tradition but still very modern with its detachable chiffon off the shoulder sleeves, sheer bodice and long train. The colour is off white and made up of a mixture of chiffon and lace fabrics in a fitted silhouette which is flattering and very comfortable to wear.

DESIGNER - Romanticism is embodied in a dress in this sensual, delicate mermaid design in chiffon, tulle and lace. A wedding dress that plays with the illusions of the bodice over a sweetheart neckline and the low fullness of the two-fabric skirt. A dress that comes with detachable off-the-shoulder chiffon sleeves that accentuate the femininity of the piece.

Alterations

I had all alterations done by a proffesional seamstress. The bust was taken in slightly and bra cups tacked in but they can be easily removed. I also had the hips taken out slightly.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned by Johnson and boxed so there is not a mark on it besides a small rip of one of the linings hems but it is not visible at all when worn. I also have the Pronovias dress bag.
