The Dress
My dress is a modern reproduction in a vintage style. It was made to order in custom colours and fit. At the time of fitting I was approximately size 14 on the top and size 16 on the bottom.
The dress is made up of a separate skirt and corset, as well as an ivory feather bolero. It was made by a proper corsetry boutique in London, so the bones are steel and so are the eyelets - no bending or warping! The dress was absolutely comfortable to wear.
The corset and bolero are completely pristine. There is a little bit of dust around the very bottom of the front hem and a small red wine stain, but the dress will be fully dry cleaned prior to sale.
The dress has been in the wardrobe since the wedding and I think it deserves to go on to be part of more big days in the future, as it is a truly beautiful and quality piece, and something really different.
