The Dress

This gorgeous Oleg Cassini sheath dress (product number: CWG807 IVYCSHMR) is perfect for a bride looking for a timeless, romantic style. When I tried on this dress, I felt absolutely radiant. I couldn't stop smiling, and I truly didn't want to take it off! It is a breathtaking dress, with a champagne colored layer of tulle beneath the lace that really makes the ivory and delicate beadwork (3,000 beads and tiny pearls!) really pop. The plunging neckline and empire waist shows off figures of all shapes and sizes--including my petite size A bust. It is fully lined, has a chapel length train and a sheer back with buttons. The dress seemingly integrates the most timeless wedding dress elements into one gown, all without feeling over the top or too flashy.

I wore it outside for our ceremony and photos--with nature as our backdrop is looked even more stunning!--and danced away for hours indoors. This dress has extremely minimal alterations, zero damage, and has been dry cleaned (value of $350, and at a cleaner with a history of dry cleaning for the White House) in preparation for the next bride to wear. As with most wedding dresses, it is heavier than a typical evening gown. However, unlike dozens of other dresses that I tried on, the fabric was sewn in a way that prevented any redness or irritation on my skin.

From start to finish this dress was true perfection, and I'm hoping that another bride will find and love this dress as much as I did! Alterations

**EXTREMELY MINIMAL ALTERATIONS**
The alterations to this dress are limited to those that any bride will want: bra cups (size B/C) and bustle points (x4) for the chapel train.

The hem, waist, etc. have *never been altered* --making this dress in its near original form a true bargain! While bra cups are currently in place for size B/C, these cups can be removed and replaced for a different size very easily and, typically by most seamstresses, at a very low cost.
