The Dress

I tried Billie on a year ago and loved her immediately, which was lucky as MWL recommend a 12 month turn around. The wedding was on 5th October this year. Super comfortable and really easy to sit, dance, walk in, she hugs you in all the right spots! I had the hips taken in and the bust size was to suit a D cup. The cups were in the wrong location, so I had the tailor remove the cups from the dress and stuck the cups to me instead of sticking/stitching to the dress. This has meant no alterations/damage to the inner fabric. I also had the tailor add a button to the inside of the dress to bustle up for dancing. Again, not evident on the outside.
The base was dirty at the end of the night(understandably) but has come up really well from Manhattan Dry Cleaner’s (one of Adelaide’s best bridal dry cleaners) with only the tiniest signs of wear and discolouration. I had it dry cleaned 3 days after the wedding. A small amount of pilling is also evident under the train. The rest of the dress is pristine and in as new condition.
I paired the dress with the Stevie veil which was an absolute winner! The veil is not for sale unfortunately.
The overall height is with heels on and my heels were 6cm.
Billie also comes with clip on ‘wings’ which I have not altered and were so fun to clip on after the ceremony for party mode! See photos above for with and without.
