The Dress
I'm selling my beautiful Johanna Johnson vintage-style wedding gown.
The dress is a luxurious ivory silk-satin sheath. It features the ‘Garland’ Swarovski hand-beading on the front and silk-satin waist tie with matching 'Garland' hand-beading.
The dress has a low back and flowing train with fingerloop. I wore it with the matching Johanna Johnson 'Garland' headpiece, and Johanna Johnson Soft Tulle Veil (floor-length 1.8m). I've sold the headpiece but I'm selling the veil for $300 ($495 new) in its original box. It was only worn for the ceremony and photos.
The dress is a standard size 6 and I had the hem taken up (I'm 5'2 and wore low heels). The dress was also altered to have a slightly lower back than the original Flora design.
I fell in love with this dress the minute I tried it on. It was professionally dry cleaned straight after the wedding, and the original fabric swatch, gloves and care instructions are also included.
