The Dress
This is a bespoke Phillipa Lesley couture dress. I was/am around a size 8 dress and 5 ft 7ins tall. It has an inner drawstring corset. It's made with Ivory silk and has a layer of lace over the top. It's strapless, A-line with layered skirt and a sweetheart neckline. It has a reasonably low back, with buttons and a train. The train bustles up at the back for the evening. I loved wearing this dress, I wanted to feel like a princess, but not feel too poofy if that makes sense. I wore a pashmina with silk trim to keep me warm and a long veil for the church.
Due to the fact it was a wet day, the bottom of the gown got a little muddy. It's been dry cleaned, but you might want to consider shortening it by a cm or 2.
