The Dress

The Alicia gown from designer Suzanne Neville, part of the 2019 Look book Collection. Made in Duchesse satin alicia lace and silk satin organza. The dress has a lovely bodice to create a beautiful structure and can be tightened to fit as required. The stain ribbon sits elegantly around the waist with satin buttons to cover the bodice at the lower back. There is a sheer peice of illusion material to the front of the dress between the lace top, the back is open.

There is a hidden loop placed under the skirt and ribbons to lift the length for post ceremony dancing!

The dress is in really good condition - I changed after the first dance. I've had the dress dry cleaned and there are a few marks around the bottom of the skirt (see photo). I haven't tried to remove these - they may come out with a better scrub. Also, if the length needed to be taken up for you, then it's very likely these would disappear.

It's such a comfy, light dress and I'd highly recommend a viewing / fitting. I would be delighted to see this dress bring as much joy to a bride-to-be as it did for me!

Alterations

I decided to have the dress made without the cap sleeves create a bespoke sleeveless gown.

Length to fit height of 5ft 8" with heels.
