The Dress

A stunning, one-of-a-kind, wedding dress, custom-made dress by Vinka Design in January 2019 for my wedding mid-March 2019.

The lace is from Italy, and is quite weighty with various 3D flowers and beads. It looks quite magical and delicate and I immediately fell in love with it.

The dress is white/ivory and the lace is perhaps an ivory which softens the white slightly (I'm told it avoids the 'blue' look in photos). However, it is still a very fresh white, not pinky or grey (which was important for my olive skin).

The dress has boning down the bodice/waist to under the bust, which gave it a nice fitted look and feel. It is comfortable boning.

The dress has built-in cups. I am a curvy size 8, with a 32E cup size and a booty. As such, there is room to alter.

The off-the-shoulder straps are meant to sit just off the shoulder, but not hang, so are elasticated with this in mind. They could quite easily hang if you wanted them to.

The dress is close to the body and then hangs straight about high-mid calf so has shape but does not restrict movement / dancing ;)

I am 166cm and wore 8cm heels, so the dress is approx. 174cm long.

Freshly dry cleaned by wedding dress specialists.

It is a gorgeous dress, so my hope is someone else will wear it and love it as much as I did xx
