The Dress
This dress was great because I ended up losing a couple kilos after last fitting and because it was a corset, still fit perfectly on the day! I designed the bustle myself asymmetrical so that when doing photography etc I could hook and unhook it myself without fuss. The hook is a single hook and I could do it myself in 2 secs! A symmetrical bustle just didn’t fit the twists of the fabric/dress. I lived this dress and it’s so flattering. I’m quite busty and I never popped out of it or felt uncomfortable on the dance floor. The train is mid length and irons quite easily with a normal iron. The length of the dress fit me perfectly so I didn’t need to hem it. There is therefore all the room for hemming required. I wore super high heels and I’m tall.
No stains from drinks etc or on the inside. A couple dirt marks at the very base that were rubbed in and couldn’t get out with dry cleaning.
