The Dress

** Size Note ** This dress is an unaltered sample dress size 's'. Made With Love samples are either 'xs' or 's' in bridal boutiques, and this was a 's'. For reference, I am 34" bust, 27" waist and 38-39" hips and I had room in it.

This was the absolute dress of my dreams! After trying it on in a boutique, I was lucky enough to find this beauty as part of a sample sale. The color is not ivory, but rather a pebble/slight off cream blush. It goes so perfectly with a slight summer glow. There is also a delicate sheen to the embroidery that becomes more visible as light hits it - just stunning!

Amongst the lace / embroidered appliques, there are little light catching fleks also woven into the fabric (almost like little sequins) that give the dress even more dimension and drama.

We had a boho woodsy wedding, and this dress was the absolute perfect fit for feeling light + airy, but still bridal. So many tears, so many compliments, I could not have found a more beautiful dress for my wedding - and I'm so happy to share the love!

There are 2 'wings' included as well. These have a small clasp that hook onto a thread loop on each shoulder. These are what give the dress its amazing attitude - SO FUN for photos! I removed them after the ceremony - they were perfect in the light breeze.

Alterations

A slight alteration was done to shorten the straps, but luckily enough that was the only real alteration needed. I am 5'5 and the dress was still just a tad too long with my shoes, but I opted to not alter the hemline so as to save on that cost/changing the lace. An invisible bustle was also added for dancing, undetectable when not in use. There was also an A/B cup added, as the top is sheer. The cup was added with just a couple stitches and could easily be changed out for a larger cup of needed.
