The Dress

This dress is a dream and I am sad to let it go! I wore it to our romantic Sicilian wedding just about a month ago and I couldn't be happier with how confident and pretty it made me feel. Even though it was a hot summer day the soft and airy inner material kept me cool. While shopping for a dress, my idea of the perfect wedding dress was this: "It needs to be SO gorgeous that no matter what your makeup and hair ends up looking like, it makes you feel perfectly put together and beautiful." NAILED IT!
A bit more about my proportions: I am a 30 D in bust size and don't have a big butt. However this dress made me look like I actually have a nice ass! ;) Because of my bigger chest I had to get a bigger size dress, which was then altered to fit my small waist.
Another INCREDIBLE thing about this dress is that it does not wrinkle! I didn't even think of this beforehand but was so happy once I got to Sicily and didn't even have to steam the dress, after it had been sitting in my suitcase for a week. It also folds up nicely and doesn't take up a lot of room. So if you have a destination wedding this is the perfect dress for traveling!

Alterations

As mentioned in the description, this dress was bought "too big" in order to fit by bust. Alterations included taking in of the waist and sleeves, lowering the neckline to match the original cut (since it got higher while adjusting the sleeves, she had to pull the armpit area up so the neckline had moved too. She readjusted is to be right under the collarbones.) My arms are around 9.5" at the biceps.
