The Dress

I am selling this dress on behalf of my best friend who was due to be getting married next summer. She tried this dress on in a boutique in May and fell in love with it, but not the £1850 price tag! We saw it for sale on here and bought it from a lovely lady who looked amazing on her wedding day in this gown. Sadly my friends young daughter has taken ill and the happy couple have decided the best thing to do is to extend the engagement and think about the wedding again when things have settled down.

The dress has been altered to fit the bride who is 5’1 and wore two inch heels. Measurements are approximately 82cm at the smallest part of the waist, 100cm at the chest and the hips are free. The bride wears a Size 12 in normal clothes and is a 36C.

The dress is Ivory tulle and English Net with beaded appliqués. The dress has a beautiful deep V neckline with elegant straps and no sleeves. There is a ruched belt panel in the dress which accentuates the waist. The skirt then flows out with a beautiful circular train to the rear. There are delicate appliqué details on the dress, all over the bust and waist and across the skirt too. On the reverse there is a button closure and rising mesh panels up to the straps.

The condition is fantastic, when we did the try on we couldn’t find fault with it but it has been used once.

The gown has been freshly dry cleaned and is ready and waiting in its bag. It also comes with a hoop to aid the fit of the skirt.

Alterations

The straps have been taken in slightly to accommodate the shorter height.
