The Dress

Lace sourced from London, Bowie has the most beautiful low V back, lace french crepe straps, lace bodice and a lace train. I wore this dress once to my wedding in Croatia, beautiful and just perfect for a destination wedding, very light. The lace detail on the front is so flattering on your curves. I customised the dress building up the lace on the straps to take them from Spaghetti to slightly thicker, and also adding some lace to the back to create a deeper and more flattering V shape for the back, as well as adding some buttons! I am 5'4 and a curvy UK size 10 and wore 10cm block heels. The dress has been dry cleaned. An easy to wear, boho style dress that flatters any figure.

Alterations

- Straps built up with additional lace to create a slightly wider strap and a more finished look than the original spaghetti straps
- back altered slightly to create a deeper (and more flattering!) V shape
- button detail added to zip-closure at back
- The dress has also had a split put in it with a lace trim which comes to just below the knee(see photos)which makes it so much easier to walk in.
- 3cm raised neckline option which makes it perfect for a larger bust (I am a 34C/D)
- the measurement from waist to floor is 112cm
