The Dress

The dress is strapless and I wore a lace jacket over the top purchased separately, which I will include. The dress is Silk and is 6 inches longer than the original from the designer. In the photos I am a size 14 and 174cm, the dress hits just below my calf, slightly longer than tea length. It swings beautifully when you dance. There was no need for a bra and I am a 36DD.

The dress and jacket have not been dry cleaned. On the wedding day (2014), some "back to black" paint from a car tyre marked the back of the dress but as it the dress falls in folds, we were able to pin it so that it wouldn't show (the picture of where I am dancing, it is pinned). If you tailored the dress and cut off 6 inches off the length, so that it was back to it's intended length then this would cut out the black mark. I have not tried to remove it at a dry cleaners, I don't know if it would come out. There is also one small water mark on the front.

Alterations

6 inches longer than the original Paige dress advertised by designer, taken in at the waist so it would fit a small size 14 (UK).
