The Dress

This intricate tulle tea length wedding dress is a 1950s inspired design. The gorgeous lace elegantly trickles over the illusion neckline and cascades down onto the tulle below the waist. The sheer illusion neckline and back detail make this dress ideal for those who want a little more coverage without hiding too much. The pearl buttons at the back give this dress a graceful and classic look. The gown has a House of Mooshki customised inner 24 boned bodice to enhance shape and provide support. The dress also comes with a detachable bow belt. This dress is so comfortable and elegant. I'm sad to part with it but even more sad to see it hang in my wardrobe knowing I'll never wear it again so I would love it if the dress could give another bride the joy it gave me on my wedding day.

Alterations

Altered at the waist. Original waist was 30 inches the waist is now 31 inches but this can easily be taken back in. The original dress doesn't come with sleeves. I ordered the dress with plain illusion sleeves and had the lace from House of Mooshki separately so that it would match the dress. The sleeves are therefore bespoke as the lace appliqués were then sewn on by my seamstress. Therefore, this dress is really unique and beautiful. I also had the hardest petticoat layer removed. However, I still have this and it can easily be reattached if you prefer to have a larger skirt.
