The Dress

Purchased January 2016. Worn May and dry cleaned May 2016.

Labelled as a 14, more like a generous size 12. I am 178cm and I wore a small pair of heels and the dress just sat above the ground. It is now more a size 10.

I had it altered as follows

Shoulder straps about 2cm shorter - can be unpicked to make them longer or if you want it to show off more chest area.

Side darts taken in at chest area ~1-2cm.

Hemmed about half an inch. I am, 176cm tall and had 2cm high shoes and the hem sat just at ground level, with shoes on. Can easily be unhemmed or hemmed more.

2 ribbons added underneath the train to help hold up the train that can't be seen. I just lifted the train up and looped the two straps on my wrist and the train was up in the air and not dragging on the ground.

Train flows nicely. Flares out. Beautiful beautiful lace.

It was the the most comfortable, easy to wear dress. It wasn't heavy. I tried on other MH dresses and they were heavy and felt like they would drag.

It's been professionally drycleaned.

Very easy to put on and take off. Slips over the head and a few buttons at the back with a half slip underneath.

Slip underneath means leg are visible to above knee or mid thigh depending on height and shoe height.
