The Dress

The Celine dress by Karen Willis Holmes is a beautiful, beaded ivory dress that adds sparkle and glamour to your wedding day.

I purchased this in May 2019 at the KWH store in Alexandria, Sydney. I bought it just weeks before my June wedding. I had decided on another dress but as soon as I saw this, I knew it would look and feel so special.

The sheer beaded sleeves add a touch of elegance and the beads / sequins twinkle in photographs.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by wedding dress specialists (i can provide paperwork as well as original receipt for the dress).

The dress is in perfect condition, though there are a few loose beads which can easily be fixed by a tailor if you’re really particular.

The dress travels really well as it does not crease at all.

I also have the full length veil from KWH which im happy to sell separately.

You’re welcome to come try this on at my home in Botany. KWH charges $50 to make an appointment there so I recommend coming to my place if you want to try it.

Alterations

I’ve had the dressed hemmed. I am 169cm and wore 2.5 inch heels on my wedding day and the dress was still long. I’ve also had cups added, which are easy to remove and have had the dress taken in a little on the shoulders as it comes with quite a lot of room around the shoulder area. All alterations were undertaken by a KWH tailor who is fantastic and does work from her home in Mascot if you need any further adjustments : )
