The Dress

Hi there, I’m selling the dress I wore to my wedding in 2018 - surplus to requirements now! Had an awesome day and I hope you will too.

It’s Mia 6284 by Stella York. The top half of the dress is beaded and embroidered tulle, with a sheer top over a sweetheart neckline. The bottom half is 5 layers - 2 inner petticoats, 2 upper layers of tulle, and between them 1 layer of the main fabric of a colour that I was told was called “Sable”. Never heard of it before but it’s a very very light pinky colour, which of course is considered quite dark in the wedding world. Who knows! I tried to capture the colour but it’s always best to see in person. The dress has a train.

I originally bought this dress from Felicity’s Bridal on High St, Auckland central for $2400.

Great condition - no stains, rips or tears.

Alterations

Alterations:
I’m usually about a 12 in normal NZ women’s sizing. They measured me as 40” bust, 32” waist, 40” hips, and so they ordered a wedding size 16 and altered it down to fit me.
I was told that it’s much easier to alter it down a size than up a size, so it’d probably be perfect if you’re a 10/12 NZ size usually.

They took up the hem to floorlength.

They added a little lace on the back next to the row of buttons where there was a small gap.
