The Dress
This dress looks beautiful on and is easy to move around in. The sweetheart neckline allows you to wear your hair up or down. I believe the under layer is satin with a lace overlay. It's a classic dress that photographs very well, I've never had so many compliments - of course being overjoyed may have something to do with that :)

Alterations
I had the dress altered, I don't have the exact dimensions but it is likely closer to a size 4 now. I also had a bustle added so there is a string to hold to carry around when taking pictures and 3 different buttons sewed in to bustle for dancing at the reception.
