The Dress

This dress was purchased new from BHLDN for my April, 2019 wedding. Although the dress is described as Ivory, to me it appears more white in person. A very classic and clean silhouette. It was worn for both ceremony and reception which were in an outdoor courtyard. The dress was professionally altered and professionally dry cleaned after. I wore this dress with a stick on backless bra. The belt was hand stitched on and can be removed if not wanted. There is no bustle, but there is a finger loop on the end of the small train. There is slight discoloration to the underside of the train and a small snag as well. Please feel free to message for more pictures. The dress will come with original garment bag. I normally wear a size small in tops and 2 in pants.

Alterations

Original measurements of dress from website:
33" bust, 26" natural waist,35.5" hip, 61.5" hips to front of hem

Professional alterations totaling around $200. I had the shoulders taken up and the back taken in (thereby reducing the bust to fit a 32A/B), the hem was also taken up (just hit the ground with me wearing flats- I am 5'6"). No changes were made to the natural waist or the hips. Also the belt was hand stitched, but can easily be removed. There was a finger loop sewn to the end of the train.
