The Dress

The Poppy Stardust dress was the first wedding dress that I tried on and I fell in love with it instantly!
It was unbelievably comfortable to wear on the day- so easy to move and dance in.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and I am more than happy for you to try it on.

The Poppy Stardust dress is from the Rue de Seine classic collection. The following notes are from their website:

Poppy Stardust has a form fitting structured bustier with a dramatic full skirt. Fullness kicks out from this low hip point into a full skirt and train. A clean, chic silhouette is contrasted by the use of a bold, and heavy corded lace. Placement lines on the bodice, and the use of different laces appeals to our fun loving modern brides.

Shell – Nylon mesh with rayon cording, cotton embroidery on nylon mesh
Lining – Polyester/Spandex power mesh
Available in off-white lace with nude lining only.

Listed below is an outline of the main body measurement terms we use. All measurements should should be taken in centimetres.

BUST - Around the fullest part of the bust
WAIST - Measure around the smallest part of your torso
HIP - Measure around the fullest part of your hip

Alterations

This was altered by Parisma, a well renown seamstress in Melbourne who came highly recommended.
She did an amazing job- the dress has been taken in at the bust and cups have been added in for extra support. The dress has also been taken up slightly- I am 167cms tall and my heel height was 6.5cms. I also added a bustle at the back to button the train up for the reception.
