The Dress
I bought this stunning Karen Willis Holmes Fontanne dress in the UK in 2018. It is a sequinned and beaded silk gown with V-neckline, a low cut back and a bias cut skirt. The dress comes with a beaded belt which ties to a bow on the back. I fell in love with the detail of the dress and the flattering, eye-catching Art Deco style beading. I am a size 10 and it fit like a glove, but it is quite stretchy which made it extremely comfortable and easy to wear.
Professionally dry-cleaned.

Alterations
Shortened length slightly at front to suit my height (168cm with 8cm inch heels. The train has been kept as is, just made evenly cut to flow with the front.
Lowered back by 2 inches (pictured)to achieve a lower V to mid-back.
Shortened straps and had breast cups inserted (easily removed)to achieve better support.
