The Dress

This is such a classic dress but with a lovely little twist in that the top and skirt are two separate pieces. The two piece top and skirt line up well together and you could easily alter to attach the two, but I loved the added detail of showing the tiniest bit of skin when I was dancing in such a classic style. Keyhole detail at the back of the lace top and beautiful lace scalloped details. The tag reads size 10 but I had it altered (see additional alterations below) to fit a dress size 2/4 and had some length taken off. I'm in love with this gown but feel it would better serve someone for their dream wedding than just hanging in my closet. I also have a veil that I made from the extra tulle from the skirt alterations so it's the perfect match and will include with the dress!

Alterations

The dress was taken in in both the top and in the skirt to fit a size 4 dress size. The skirt was altered to take out some of the (previously 6ish) layers of tulle so that it was less "poofy" and laid better. There was also a really beautiful horsehair hem detail that was hidden away and with alterations brought to the top layer of tulle in the skirt.
