The Dress

Pronovias Orquidea is a mermaid wedding dress with a full sleeve and bateau neckline. The gown is made from the finest quality crepe with beautifully subtle floral motifs running down the side of the body. The back of the dress is a showstopper and sure to turn heads on your wedding day.

I am approx 172cm tall and a UK size 10 and had it fitted so the dress fits tightly at the waist and nips in underneath the bum for a super flattering look! The dress falls just to the floor at the front and has a beautiful long train.

There are cups sewn in so no need to worry about a bra, leaving you completely supported & comfortable all night long! I danced the night away in this dress, as there are loops in the train to create a bustle, stopping it from trailing on the floor.

The dress has been worn once and dry cleaned. There are a few minor marks on the underneath of the skirt/train but they are not noticeable when you are wearing the dress. I am also selling my cathedral-length cape-veil which I wore with the dress. It hands from loops at the shoulders and scoops at the back to show off the beautiful sheer & lace back.

Alterations

The dress was altered to fit around the waist and bum, and bustle hooks were added. There is a small button under the top of each shoulder from which my cape-veil hung.
